Daycare description / philosophy

Munchkin Avenue is approved by Today's Family Solutions. This is a licensed Agency for the Family Home Day Care Program through the NS Department of Community Services for providing quality, monitored child care.
I graduated in 2004 with my diploma in Early Childhood Education, and have provided great quality care for many families. The daily routine includes outdoor play, both in the morning and the afternoon, circle time (songs, stories), art, as well as many other activities throughout the day. This gives your child lots of opportunity to play and learn all day long.
The menu provided is based on Canada's Food Guide. I provide two healthy snacks a day, as well as a nutritious lunch full of whole wheat products, fresh fruit/ veggies, lean meat and whole milk. There are no processed foods on the menu.
